Sorry, this is not going to be nearly as interesting as you had hoped. I have three major obsessions. The biggest one is how large-scale environmental change is going to affect geopolitics. Trying to figure it out is a bit like playing Risk, except glasses of water randomly spill and wash out whole areas of the board. And it is real. Too real. For more, visit here. A much more benign obsession is old time radio shows (Pat Novak, For Hire; The Avengers -- the South Africa version; Crime Classics; most BBC mysteries and comedies -- but not the pedantic Yorkshire dramas; Nero Wolfe, etc.). I listen to them on mp3 on a daily basis. Yes, daily. What can I say? And, finally, I have this thing for the world's smallest countries. There is an actual honest-to-betsy theoretical reason for it but, to hear more, you'll have to be willing to go that extra click.
